Centered Magazine Mission
Centered Magazine was founded to empower male college students who are passionate about life, success, and servanthood. We seek to inspire them, through example, with excellent standards and values to guide them along their path of success. We believe the world can be a better place because this magazine has invested its resources and focus toward the growth and development of future world leaders—leaders who are now on college campuses everywhere.
To further our mission, we’re enlisting college and university students all over the country as Centered Magazine Ambassadors. Below are the requirements and benefits. If interested, complete the online application.
Job Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in a University or College with at least 12 credit hours
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Personal means of transportation
- Embody the traits of a Centered Man (our core values)
- Flexible work schedule (preferably nights and weekends)
- Must be internet/computer savvy (great typing and navigating skills)
- Good Facebook standing (lots of friends and clean profile)
- Good communication skills
- Must be responsible, dependable, and deadline oriented
- Possesses knowledge of parties, night-life, college hang outs, and an expert in local area
Benefits:
- Hands on experience (marketing, promoting, and networking)
- Possibly earn intern credit hours through university (dependent upon school policy)
Roles and Duties:
- Serve as on-campus representative of Centered Magazine
- Notify campus of upcoming Centered Magazine events
- Plan and set up venues on and near campus
- Responsible for feedback via email and bi-weekly phone conference
- Implement new marketing campaigns on campus
- Distribute tangible products such as t-shirts, coozies, croakies, brochures as they become available
- Organize club promos and on-campus activities
- Be able to promote events, parties via social networking sites such as Facebook Twitter and MySpace
